The Danish and Finnish rock veterans will share the stage in Porto and Lisbon as part of their Cowpunks And Glampires European tour.

Portugal will host, in January 2026, one of the most anticipated rock tours of the coming year. Danish hard rock veterans D-A-D and Finnish goth rock icons The 69 Eyes will join forces for two exclusive Portuguese dates as part of the Cowpunks And Glampires Tour: 16 January at Hard Club in Porto and 17 January at LAV – Lisboa ao Vivo in Lisbon.

Both concerts will follow the same schedule, with doors opening at 7:00 pm and performances beginning at 8:00 pm. Tickets are priced at €35 and are currently available through an exclusive pre-sale at Unkind.pt, with general sales expanding shortly to the usual outlets, including Fnac, Worten and Meo Blueticket.

Presented in a co-headlining format, the tour brings together two bands whose careers have unfolded along different paths, yet share a common legacy rooted in longevity, strong artistic identity and a loyal international following. For Portuguese audiences, these dates represent a rare opportunity to witness two cornerstone acts of Northern European rock sharing the same stage.

D-A-D arrive in Portugal following the celebration of their 40th anniversary as a band. Formed in Copenhagen under the name Disneyland After Dark, they established themselves as one of Scandinavia’s most distinctive hard rock acts, blending muscular riffs, punk-inflected energy and memorable choruses. Their most recent studio album, Speed of Darkness, released in 2024, was widely praised by international critics and accompanied by an extensive European tour, culminating in a sold-out performance at Copenhagen’s Royal Arena, soon to be released as a live recording.

Sharing the bill are The 69 Eyes, long-standing ambassadors of Finnish goth rock. Fronted by Jyrki 69, the Helsinki-based group have spent more than three decades refining a sound and image that merges Scandinavian melancholy with the decadent glamour of classic rock. Their latest album, Death of Darkness, reinforces this identity, exploring themes of desire, nocturnal romance and the supernatural through a cinematic and theatrical lens.

Both bands have expressed long-standing enthusiasm for this collaboration, now realised in the Cowpunks And Glampires Tour. The Portuguese dates promise two nights shaped by contrast and complementarity, uniting different generations of fans around a shared celebration of European rock heritage.

With performances scheduled in two of Portugal’s most emblematic venues, the Porto and Lisbon concerts are set to open 2026 with intensity, character and a strong sense of occasion — a meeting point for hard rock grit and gothic allure.
