The German grindcore scene is really big, so it is tough to get a band with fresh ideas, a mind blowing sense of humor, and good structured songs. The last full length CD of Kadaverficker “Nekrokore is Love”, is exactly that during its twenty seven minutes of duration.
When it comes to grindcore, we find that we don’t have to get an album that lasts very long, but an album that releases its essence to the listener, that make us headbang, leaving a satisfaction smile on our faces, and probably make us all have a good laugh. This is what we get on an album with songs like “Nekrobama: Death We Can”, “Ebola Bitch”, “Nekrokore Is Love” with the participation of Marc Miekeley on vocals, “Happy Hymen Virgin Buster”, “Nekro Power in the Acid Shower”, “Je suisnekro”, “Bishierhin und dichtweiter”, “Weggeporkt&Abgeslasht”, and “Tote Körperlamentierennicht”. With a tracklist divided in 3 parts: 1-7 (Chapter IV: No More Hope), 8-14(Chapter V: The FickerzStricke Back), and 15-21 (Chapter VI: The Battle for Backdoor), this album co-released with Godeater Records flows really well and counts with Goreminister on vocals, Grand Moff Ghoul on guitars, Admiral Aids on bass, Corporal Cruel on drums, and General Waste as guest musician adding guitars and bass to the record.
The production is effective, with a putrid well worked sound not too fancy, to give us that feeling of an underground record. If the listener is looking for a great grindcore album, or if it doesn’t listen to grindcore at all, and what something new in his discography, this is surely something to give it a try, because Kadaverficker’s “Nekrokore” is indeed love!
