Sunday March 22nd, one of the hardest hitting tours I’ve ever seen came through and blew the roof off of The Pageant in St. Louis MO. Slaughter to Prevail, Whitechapel, and Attila… What more could you ask for as a fan of heavy music?
Metalcore legends Attila started off the night and as seasoned veterans, knew exactly how to kick things off. The set was a perfect balance of old school songs fans love and new songs that show they’ve evolved but still have that edgy grit that has earned them success for all these years.

Up next was Whitechapel, another band that has continuously grown and evolved while staying true to that signature sound that has won over audiences for two decades now. They were absolutely phenomenal. I cannot put into words how great they sounded. The way the crowd just absolutely erupted as they came out firing with songs like “Prisoner 666” and “Hymns of Dissonance” was an amazing sight to see.

Slaughter to Prevail closed out the night and let me tell you, they did not disappoint. The masked musicians walked on stage and as soon as the first note was played, their music hits you like a sledgehammer. Right from the beginning the crowd turned into absolute chaos. Moshing, crowd surfing, screaming at the top of their lungs. They could not get enough of it. You quickly realize why this band has earned the reputation and respect of metalheads worldwide.
