The energetic EAGLES OF DEATH METAL are set to dazzle the EVILLIVE FESTIVAL with their vibrant and irreverent rock’n’roll.
Formed in 1998 in California, EAGLES OF DEATH METAL is a unique band in the alternative rock scene. Despite their name suggesting a connection to death metal, the group delivers a lively mix of garage rock and blues, often characterized by an irreverent and energetic attitude. The band was formed by Jesse Hughes, vocalist and guitarist, and Josh Homme, known for his role as the leader of Queens Of The Stone Age. Although Homme rarely performs with the band on tour, his influence as a drummer and producer was crucial in developing the band’s distinctive sound. Their debut album, Peace, Love, Death Metal (2004), introduced a raw and contagious style. Since then, Hughes and the band have released a series of albums blending catchy riffs with sharp humor. In 2015, EAGLES OF DEATH METAL faced an unimaginable tragedy during the Paris attacks, which interrupted their concert at the Bataclan. Since then, they have become symbols of resilience, maintaining their passion for music and live performances, always with unwavering energy.
Tickets for the EVILLIVE FESTIVAL will be available starting December 10th at 10:00 AM.
The initial sales phase, exclusively for “early birds,” will be available at FNAC stores, offering a special 3-day Pass for €159. After this phase, the 3-day Pass will be priced at €169, while the 2-day Pass, valid for June 28th and 29th, will cost €139.
More bands will be announced soon to complete what is shaping up to be the best lineup of the upcoming year in Portugal.
