Lacuna Coil, the internationally acclaimed icons of modern gothic metal, are set to return to Portugal for a highly anticipated concert at LAV – Lisboa Ao Vivo on October 17, 2025.
The event forms part of the band’s extensive European tour, accompanying the release of their latest studio album, Sleepless Empire.
Fronted by the dynamic vocal partnership of Cristina Scabbia and Andrea Ferro, Lacuna Coil continue to captivate audiences worldwide with their signature fusion of melodic, gothic, and alternative metal. Emerging from Milan’s underground scene in the 1990s, the band has achieved global recognition for its powerful dual-vocal approach, dramatic live performances, and unwavering creative evolution.

While preserving the band’s unmistakable identity, the record ventures into fresh sonic territories and features major collaborations, including appearances by Ash Costello (New Years Day) and Randy Blythe (Lamb Of God). The upcoming Lisbon concert will showcase a career-spanning setlist, blending classic fan favourites such as “Our Truth” and “Layers of Time” with the intense new material from Sleepless Empire.
Supporting Lacuna Coil on this special evening will be Nonpoint, the veteran American nu-metal outfit whose infectious energy and commanding stage presence have solidified their reputation as one of the genre’s most enduring acts.
