The 2025 edition takes place from July 31st to August 3rd, with four days of great events at the iconic Quinta do Ega, in Vagos (Aveiro).
The return to Portuguese soil of the legendary P.O.D. after 25 years is one of the highlights of this edition, alongside new additions such as Candlemass, Rhapsody of Fire, Gama Bomb, Angelus Apatrida and much more.
Vagos Metal Fest 2025 is officially closed. The festival organisation lifts the veil on the last wave of confirmations, crowning this edition with a return that many have been waiting for years: the North Americans P.O.D. take to the stage at Quinta do Ega for the first time, in an unprecedented and unmissable concert.
Return of P.O.D. to Portugal: a historic moment
With more than three decades of career, P.O.D. (Payable On Death) have become one of the most iconic names in the fusion of alternative metal, rap rock and nu-metal. Hailing from San Diego, California, the band conquered the world with anthems such as Youth of the Nation, Alive, Boom or Satellite, selling over 12 million albums and marking a generation. Known for their energetic performances and messages of resistance and faith, P.O.D. promise to shake up the Vagos stage upon their return to Portugal after more than two decades.

Also back, but already well known to fans, the Swedish Candlemass bring a very special show: “40 Years of Doom”, celebrating four decades as masters of epic doom metal. With classics like Solitude or Mirror Mirror, the band promises an intense performance full of history. Confirming the diversity of the lineup, the Italians also join in Rhapsody of Fire, with their symphonic and cinematic power metal; the Irish Gama Bomb, bringing fast-paced thrash and full of humour; the Spanish Angelus Apatrida, with their technical and cutting thrash; and the French Sublime Cadaveric Decomposition, which add to their brutal grind/death approach.
These names are also joined by Serrabulho, Bleeding Display, Karbonsoul, Hochiminh, Undersave, Momentos Extremos de Obsessão, Evenflow, House Of Dawn and Chontaraz, reinforcing the richness and brutality of the final alignment.

Tickets for Vagos Metal Fest 2025 are now on sale, with prices set at €59 for daily tickets and 115€ for general passes, which give access to the four days of the festival. They are available through the platforms Ticketline, Masqueticket, 3cket, Unkind, as well as at the usual places of sale.
