The 8th edition of Vagos Metal Fest is scheduled for July 31 through August 3, 2025, with the first day offered as a complimentary extra for holders of full passes. By May 2025, over a dozen acts had been confirmed, including legends like Mayhem (Norwegian black metal), Moonspell (Portugal’s most internationally recognised metal band), Decapitated, Dying Fetus, Black Flag, The Exploited, and Bizarra Locomotiva, among others such as Hatebreed, Destruction, Gorgoroth, Gutalax, and more. In addition to the music, the festival offers free camping, accessible facilities, food and drink vendors (including vegan options), and logistical support, such as free shuttle buses from Aveiro and Vagueira, as well as bus discounts via Rede Expressos for festival-goers.

Full “4‑day” festival passes (July 31–Aug 3) grant access to the extra opening day and include camping. Individual daily tickets allow access to both festival grounds and campsite for the purchased day, though re‑entry is not permitted once you exit on that day. Reduced‑mobility tickets are available at 50% off at the box office (with proof of ≥ 60% disability), with dedicated facilities and ramp access. Tickets available at Ticketline, 3cket and Masqueticket.
:: OTHER ACTIVITIES ::
Trash Circus will be performing within the festival premises during the event. There will also by Yoga sessions courtesy of MetalYoga every day between 15h00 and 15h30. The Vagos Surfers Association will be hosting water activities by the deck of the Boco river in the morning from 10h00 to 13h00. You can also get yourself a haircut at the Bigorna Barbershop, inside the festival grounds. If you wish to get yourself a permanent memory of the Vagos Metal Fest 2025, you can stop by the Insomnia Collective tattoo stand or relax with a massage at the Rock N’ Heal massages.
:: CAMPING ::
Camping is free and included with any ticket. Zones open from July 30, but are supervised starting July 31 only—arrivals on the 30th do so at their own risk. Campsite amenities include showers, restrooms, meal-sink zones, and disabled-access areas. Note: vehicles, open fires, stoves, grills, glass or cans are prohibited—designated grilling zones are available.

Buses & Shuttle: Rede Expressos offers a 10% discount for domestic travel between July 30 – August 4 (code: VAGOS2025), with a stop right at the festival entrance. Free shuttle buses also connect Aveiro → festival, and Orbitur Vagueira → festival during event days.

:: FOOD & PROHIBITED ITEMS ::
Outside food/drinks, glass bottles, cans, large suitcases, flashlights/lasers, lighters, kneeling chairs, professional cameras, umbrellas, alcohol, sharp blades, pyrotechnics, drugs and animals are strictly prohibited. Expect multiple food vendors—including vegetarian and vegan options—and on‑site water/drink sales.
:: ACCESSIBILITY ::
Children under 3 not allowed. Kids aged 3–11 get free entry when accompanied by an adult with a paid ticket. The festival is wheelchair‑friendly: reduced‑mobility tickets, dedicated toilets, ramp access, and campsite spaces are available.
