They taketh away, but then they giveth. The festival Be Prog! My Friend may be no more, but its organization is bringing another festival in its place which will take place in Málaga, Spain: Rock The Coast. Over time many top artists have been announced, and recently the remaining slots have been announced, making a great roster even better.
The full line-up of the festival spans across different rock and metal genres and includes acts such as Scorpions, Opeth, Tarja, Carcass, Mayhem. The latest acts to be added include Europe, Tribulation and Jinjer, among others. Head over to the festival’s official website to see the full line-up.
This will be a true Summer festival, taking place by the sea at the site of Mare Nostrum in Fuengirola. As such it should provide a good alternative to the rainy and muddy big festivals in the northern side of Europe. Tickets are selling for 130€ plus expenses for a full weekend ticket and 80€ plus expenses for a single day ticket.
