Persefone has been currently touring with Poem in order to introduce their latest release “Aathma”
The “Aathma” tour started on April 7th in Barcelona and will end on April 22 in Stockholm at the Kraken Sthlm venue.
For the special end of tour date they invited the band Loch Vostok as opening band. Originally from Uppsala (Sweden) their latest release “From these waters” was released in March 30, 2015. Last fall they announced the beginning of the recording of their upcoming album, “Strife”, that is due for released under Intromental Management & Vicisolum Productions artist on April / May 2017. Album is being recorded at Frontporch Productions and mix/mastered by David Castillo (Katatonia, Dark Tranquility, Sepultura).
Leadsinger/guitarist, Teddy Möller comments on the new album:
“Where do you go after disappointment strikes? Who do you trust after betrayal hits you like a knife in the back? Why do you choose to go on and on, through hardship after hardship?

Poem was formed in 2006 in Athens (Greece) and after some lineup changes they released their debut album,“The Great Secret Show”, in December 2008. Soon after they signed with the greek label “Dromos music” for a June 2009 release. They have been touring and opening shows for bigger band like Amorphis, Omnium Gatherum, Textured, Opeth, Ozzy Osbourne, Pain of Salvation, Paradise Lost, Rotting Christ, Leprous, etc..
On March 2016 they signed with the Swedish label “ViciSolum Productions” in order to release their second album “Skein Syndrome” (March 18), which they are still currently promoting.

After almost four years since their latest release “Spiritual Migration” (March 29th, 2013) and with a change in the band lineup (guitarist and drummer), they released “Aathma” album on February 24th, 2017. Stated as an album that takes their music to the next level, “Aathma” included the guest appearances by Paul Masvidal (Cynic, Death), Øystein Landsverk (Leprous) and Merethe Soltvedt. Mixed and mastered by Jens Bogren (Katatonia, Opeth, Devin Townsend, Arch Enemy, Symphony X etc.)
