1349 – Dødskamp

Masters of the pure Norwegian black metal, 1349, are coming back with a new single ‘Dødskamp’ which will be released by Season Of Mist on the 5th of April. The song was recorded as a tribute to Edvard Munch’s painting called ‘Dødskamp’ (what can be translated to ‘Death Struggle’). It is not a surprise that this 1349 tribute is a massive piece of heavy, black metal sounds reflecting what the band takes out of the picture.

The single is now available in the official streaming services. A vinyl version of the single will be available on April 5th consisting of a bonus track – live version of ‘Atomic Chapel’ which will be available only on this EP. This is a highly recommend piece of music to all metal fans.

Adopted the role of the zine Finnish emissary, and since my addition to the roster, I have been juggling the tasks of Editor-in-chief, Promoter and Manager of the zine social media pages. As part of the permanent staff of the zine, album reviews, video and written interviews, covering live shows (text, video and photography) have been also a strong contribution to the zine work. Besides the zine "hobbies" I am also a origami, music and travel enthusiastic.
