SWR Barroselas Metalfest has confirmed the dates for its 2027 edition.

The festival will take place between 29 April and 2 May 2027 in Barroselas, Portugal, continuing a tradition that has established the event as one of the most enduring gatherings dedicated to extreme music in Europe.

The announcement arrives shortly after the conclusion of the 2026 edition and allows attendees, artists and industry professionals to begin planning for next year’s event.
