Filipe Gomes 25/09/2012 News Comments Off on New SHINING album out in October

Swedish Black Metal band Shining will be releasing their eighth full length album on the 29th of October. This will be their second album to be released through Spinefarm Records, a sub-label of Universal Music Group.

A trailer for “Redefining Darkness”, the eighth full-length album from Swedish extreme metallers Shining, can be seen below.

Kvarforth commented on the fact that this is the first album without a number prefix:

“The use of numbers to describe our albums is no longer something that Shining is interested in doing.

“The new album is without a doubt the darkest thing I have ever done or heard. People will be upset, for sure — and hopefully its divine genius will destroy the lives of thousands.”

As with all their albums, Redefining Darkness” continues the band’s tradition of featuring a total of six tracks:

“Redefining Darkness”

1. Du, Mitt Konstverk

2. The Ghastly Silence

3. Han Som Hatar Människan

4. Hail Darkness Hail

5. Det Stora Grå

6. For the God Below
