Initially, due to illness, only the first 4 UK dates of his farewell tour entitled “No More Tours 2” were postponed. But now it has been announced that Ozzy Osbourne was forced to postpone the entire European leg of the tour due to strict doctor’s orders. Ozzy was supposed to start touring Europe with Judas Priest in Dublin, Ireland on the 30th of January.
While no specific new dates have been announced, there is information that the shows are being rescheduled to start in September of this year. All ticket holders can keep their tickets as they will still be valid for the respective rescheduled events. Information regarding ticket refunds has started to be sent to some locations.
From the official announcement, Ozzy himself had the following to say:
I’m completely devastated for having to postpone the European leg of my tour. It just seems that since October everything I touch has turned to shit.
First the staph infection in my thumb and now coming down with the flu and bronchitis. I want to apologize to all of my fans who have been so loyal over the years, my band, my crew and to Judas Priest for letting you all down. However, I promise the tour with Judas Priest will be completed. It’s being rescheduled right now to start in September. Again, I apologize to everyone. God Bless.
Love you all, Ozzy.
We wish Ozzy a speedy recovery.
